Design Fox Collective was honoured to provide brand development support for Create and Connect, a community-led project by local artist Ren Wooldridge. We’re proud to have helped the project win a recent God’s House Tower pitch event in Southampton, securing a bursary and an upcoming exhibition.
Our role was to shape a brand presence that felt vibrant, authentic, and deeply rooted in the project’s spirit. Create and Connect is about more than creative workshops — it’s about the power of connection and the courage to face shared challenges through art.
The creative brief called for a design approach that would:
We developed a visual identity featuring a bold burst of colour, a silhouette motif representing unity, and a palette that echoed the diversity of communities across Hampshire. These elements reflected both the individuality and collective strength of the women involved.
When Create and Connect won the public vote, we were beyond proud... not just of the brand work we contributed but of the message this win sends: creativity, care, and connection are powerful tools for change.
This is exactly why Design Fox Collective exists to support people doing good work through purposeful, thoughtful design. Whether it’s branding, campaign support, or story-led marketing, we’re here to help creative change makers bring their vision to life.
If you’re working on a community-focused, charity-led, or arts-based initiative and need creative direction, brand design, or campaign storytelling — we’d love to hear from you.
